Alders Pub Ollerton – Marstons Brewery

Alders Pub Ollerton - Image of pub and signage

The Alders Pub Ollerton is a new Marston’s carvery pub restaurant in Ollerton. The name ‘Alders’ comes from the original spelling of the town – ‘Allerton’ – which means ‘farm among the alders’, referring of course to the alder, a tree of the birch family.

The pub boasts a varied menu, including a superb daily carvery right at the heart what we do. The carvery is freshly prepared and offers a choice of three succulent meats carved by our friendly chefs, temptingly displayed alongside a wide range of seasonal vegetables and homemade Yorkshire puddings.

At the bar you can choose from a superb selection of cask ales from Marston’s’ five breweries, a great wine list featuring choices from the distinguished Rothschild wineries, as well as an impressive range of ciders, soft drinks and spirits. A Nescafe Milano coffee is the perfect way to finish off your meal with one of the fabulous and irresistible larger than life desserts from our unmissable cake cabinet. And if you haven’t got time to stop, simply order your cake “to go” and we’ll box it up for you to take home. You can order your coffee “to go” too!

Marstons Brewery

We’ve been running pubs and brewing beer in one form or another for over 180 years. Now we’ve got 13,000 people working for us and many more in partnership with us, and they all share our passion!

Our people; from the brewery teams, to the distribution fleet, to every single team member in our pubs, have helped us to become a thriving FTSE 250 listed company.

We have pubs that are traditional locals, family pub restaurants and fashionable town centre bars. While pubs may have changed a lot over the years, the reasons people use them hasn’t. The pub is where we go to socialise, celebrate, commiserate, relax, reflect, regroup or simply enjoy a cold beer or a bite to eat at the end of a long day.

We are now one of the country’s top pub businesses and the leading brewer of premium cask and bottled beers. We operate five breweries producing over 60 of the country’s best loved ales at our sites in: Burton on Trent (Marston’s), Oxfordshire (Wychwood & Brakspear), Cumbria (Jennings), Hampshire (Ringwood) and the West Midlands (Banks’s).

We’re rightly proud of our heritage – our people, our pubs and our beers. We work hard making sure that everything we do; from the beers we brew, to the pubs they are enjoyed in, and the people that serve them, are always the best that they can possibly be.
