Woodland Nurture Forest School

Forest School and Outdoor Learning Centre

In our private woods near Rufford Park  we offer the following Activities:

Forest School for Home Educated Children.woodland Nurture

Woodlanders (ages 5-11)

Senior Woodlanders (ages 11-15)

At Woodland Nurture we offer a safe space where children can learn to problem solve, take turns, negotiate, collaborate, resolve conflicts, regulate their emotions, be creative and use their imagination.

Woodland Wednesdays – Stay and Play

Share in the wonder of nature with your children through the seasons as they…hunt for mini-beasts; make something in our creative corner; learn new vocabulary; get messy in the mud kitchen; build core muscles and coordination whilst climbing trees, clambering over logs and building dens.   There will be songs and stories around the campfire with drinks and tasty snacks for all.

Woodland Nurture

Mini Woodlanders

On a Thursday morning we offer a session for children from ages 2.5 to 5 to develop their independence by staying without their parents or carers.  The session is for 1 hour 50 minutes and has small adult:child ratios of a maximum 2:12.

Woodland NurtureBirthday Parties

Why not have your next party in the woods!

An unforgettable party for your child and their friends. Parties can be themed to suit your child’s imagination

Activities can include team games; den building; woodland crafts; mini beast hunting and free time to climb trees and explore.
