The Cornwater Club provides friendship and a range of stimulating activities for older people in a safe, welcoming environment. 

Founded in 2001 to provide facilities to people within the local community, the Cornwater Club has expanded to welcome members from throughout Nottinghamshire. The club is open three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and offers a programme of activities which run throughout the day. A freshly prepared two course lunch is served at every session.

The Cornwater Club is a friendly, lively club which offers members the opportunity to come and meet like minded older people.  

The club runs  three days a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday from  10:00 am to 2:30 pm at Ravens Lodge.Cornwater Club runs from Ravens Lodge

Staff run the sessions with the support of volunteers.   Throughout the day there are a variety of activities on offer, some members do all of these activities, others pick and choose; some are happy to read and have a chat. Club Activities and Services

Refreshments are available throughout the day and a freshly prepared two course meal, which is cooked on the premises, is served at every session.

Cornwater Club Membership

Our members are drawn from many areas of Nottinghamshire; however, transport is only available for those members living in Ravenshead and Blidworth. Members from outside of this area make their own transport arrangements. Transport

Members are welcome to attend as many sessions as they like during the week, although booking is essential.  There is no upper or lower age limit.

The Cornwater Club is operated by Cornwater Clubs (Ravenshead) Ltd,  both a registered charity and a company  limited by guarantee.  The clubs affairs are overseen by a Board of Volunteer Directors, all local residents,  with experience in various branches of commerce and the professions.
